A Quick Introduction: Matthew Ray Sutton's Film production oriented education began at the USC School of Cinematic Arts from 2017 to 2019, where he specialized in Independent Feature Filmmaking and Horror Production. This foundational period was further enriched by the mentorship of acclaimed directors David Maquiling, known for "Too Much Sleep" (1997), and Rebekah McKendry, celebrated for her extensive work in horror and her most recent film "Glorious" (2022) starring J.K. Simmons. This unique tutelage under seasoned filmmakers significantly shaped Matthew's approach to the horror genre. His academic pursuit continued at the University of Roehampton, where, from 2020 to 2023, he completed a BFA in Film Production with First Class Honours. These formative years were pivotal in honing his innovative storytelling and technical skills in film production.
